We are delighted to welcome you to St Michael’s Church of England Academy, a brand new Church of England school and nursery in the heart of Paignton. 

St Michael’s is a member of the Learning Academy Partnership, a highly successful Multi-Academy Trust, with exceptional schools providing an excellent education with high academic outcomes for all children.  The Trust is one of the top-performing in the country and St Michael’s will provide the same exceptional curriculum that is recognised across all our Trust schools.

St Michael’s is currently being redeveloped in Fisher Street, Paignton, and opened its doors to nursery and reception children only in September 2021, and will increase by one Year Group, year-on-year, until we have classes in every Year Group, from nursery through to Year 6.  

Our founding children will have the unique opportunity to be the first cohort to start their outstanding education in our Reception year.
